Hello! I've been away for a while on a little vacation with the hubby. We went to Nashville last week to visit my brother and had a great time seeing him and seeing the city's sights! I'm back, and today I wanted to announce that my first Minted art print is now available! It's a photograph I took in my family's old, big barn. The image is an interior shot in the horse stable, and I have so originally titled it "The Horse Stable Series 1." This design was an Editor's Pick in Minted's "State of the Art Challenge." The photo was taken with a manual film camera, and I developed and printed the original image in the darkroom. I think that really adds to the depth of the lights, grays and darks in this image. The barn itself has been in the family for several generations now, and I have fond memories of playing and exploring in it, though it was always missing an actual horse!
The print can be seen here and is available unframed or you can choose from seven different frames, including rustic wood frames. Sizes run from 5x7 all the way up to 44x60, so you can really plaster your walls with this one!
